Translation · EN

"But they will never wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth," meaning: because of the wicked deeds they have committed in advance; for they know that they are being punished. This refers specifically to those who denied [the truth] and disbelieved out of envy and tyranny. [Verse 96]

﴿وَلَنْ يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْديهم﴾ يَعْنِي: بِمَا أسلفوا من الْأَعْمَال الخبيثة؛ لأَنهم يعلمُونَ أَنهم معذَّبون؛ يَعْنِي بِهِ الْخَاصَّة الَّذين جَحَدُوا وَكَفرُوا حسدا وبغيا. [آيَة ٩٦]
