Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 1 · Page 165

Translation · EN

It remained in ruins until the people of Islam rebuilt it, and no Roman entered it thereafter except in fear. "For them in this world is disgrace," which is the conquest of their city, Rome, the killing of their combatants, and the taking of their offspring captive, "and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment."
