The saying of the Exalted: "And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself?" That is: his judgment failed to look out for his own soul, so he went astray.

Muhammad said: It was said that the meaning is: except for one whose soul is foolish; that is: ignorant.

The saying of the Exalted: "And We had chosen him in this world," meaning: We selected him, "and indeed in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous," and they are the people of Paradise. [Verses 131-134]
