Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 1 · Page 199139

Translation · EN

"Say: Do you dispute with us about Allah, while He is our Lord and your Lord?" the verse.

Muhammad said: It has been said that the interpretation of this verse is that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, commanded the Muslims to say to the Jews who supported those who do not profess the oneness of [Allah, among the Christians and the idolaters, and to argue against them by saying: You claim that you profess the oneness of Allah alone, and we profess the oneness of Allah, so why have you supported those who do not profess the oneness of Allah?] "And He is our Lord and your Lord, and for us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds."

(Page 20) Then they informed them that you are sincere, unlike those who opposed you.
