"Just as We have sent among you a Messenger from among yourselves, reciting to you Our verses and purifying you"—meaning, purifying you from polytheism (shirk)—"and teaching you the Book and the Wisdom." The Book is the Qur'an, and the Wisdom is the Sunnah. He says: Just as I have done that for you.
﴿كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولا مِنْكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُم آيَاتنَا ويزكيكم﴾ يطهركم من الشّرك ﴿وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحكمَة﴾ الْكتاب: الْقُرْآن، وَالْحكمَة: السّنة؛ يَقُولُ كَمَا فعلت ذَلِك بكم
