Yahya said: Then He mentioned another class of people—meaning: the hypocrites—and said: "And of the people are some who say, 'We believe in Allah and the Last Day,' but they are not believers." They only spoke this openly.
قَالَ يحيى: ثمَّ ذكر صفنا آخر من النَّاس - يَعْنِي: الْمُنَافِقين - فَقَالَ: ﴿وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هم بمؤمنين﴾ إِنَّمَا تكلمُوا بِهِ فِي الْعَلَانِيَة
