"And remember Him, as He has guided you, for indeed, you were, before this, among those who were astray" (2:198).
Al-Hasan's explanation: Among those who were astray regarding your rites, your Hajj, and your entire religion.
﴿وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ من قبله لمن الضَّالّين﴾.
تَفْسِير الحَسَن: من الضَّالّين فِي مَنَاسِككُم وحجكم ودينكم كُله. [آيَة ١٩٩ - ٢٠٢]
