"And among them is he who says" (2:201) and they are the believers, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good" (2:201), the rest of the verse. Al-Hasan said: The good in this world is obedience to Allah, and in the Hereafter it is the reward. Some of them said: The good in this world is everything that pertains to the prosperity of the world, and among that is a righteous wife.
﴿وَمِنْهُم من يَقُول﴾ وهم الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَة﴾ الْآيَة قَالَ الحَسَن: والحسنة فِي الدُّنيا طَاعَة الله، وَفِي الْآخِرَة الْأجر. وقَالَ بَعضهم: الْحَسَنَة فِي الدُّنْيَا كُلُّ مَا كَانَ من رخاء الدُّنيا، وَمن ذَلِكَ الزَّوْجَة الصَّالِحَة
