the Hereafter. "And those who are mindful [of Allah]"—who are the believers—"are above them on the Day of Resurrection," meaning: they are better than them. "And Allah provides for whom He wills without measure." Some of them said: This means: without his own self being brought to account, because what is with Allah does not diminish, as that which is in the hands of people diminishes. [Verse 213]
الْآخِرَة ﴿وَالَّذين اتَّقوا﴾ وهم الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ﴾ أَي: خير مِنْهُم ﴿وَاللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ من يَشَاء بِغَيْر حِسَاب﴾ قَالَ بَعضهم: يَعْنِي: من غير أَن يُحَاسب نَفسه؛ لِأَن مَا عِنْد اللَّه لَا ينقص؛ كَمَا ينقص مَا فِي أَيدي النَّاس. [آيَة ٢١٣]
