"Would any of you like to have a garden," to His saying, "and it is struck by a whirlwind containing fire?" Mujahid said: It means a strong wind containing a scorching heat. "So it is burnt," he says: Is there any among you who would like that? Meaning: No one among you would like that. So beware lest your status with Allah be like that, at the time you are most in need of your deeds, He causes them to be nullified and voided, such that you are unable to obtain anything from them. This is a parable for one who is negligent in the obedience of Allah until he dies. [Verse 267]
