Yahya [narrated] from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad, from Salih Mawla al-Taw'amah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever grants a respite to one in hardship, or cancels [the debt] for him, Allah will shade him in His shade on the Day of Resurrection."
His saying: "And that you remit [it] as charity is better for you" [al-Hasan said]: That is, it is better for you on the day you return to Allah.
