"He has sent down upon you the Book [the Quran] in truth, confirming what came before it"—meaning: the Torah and the Gospel—"and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel."
﴿نزل عَلَيْك الْكتاب﴾ الْقُرْآن ﴿بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ﴾ يَعْنِي: التَّوْرَاة وَالْإِنْجِيل ﴿وَأَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيل﴾
