His saying: "And Allah warns you of Himself," means: His punishment. "And Allah is Kind to the servants," meaning: Merciful. As for the believer, he has the mercy of the worldly life and the Hereafter; as for the disbeliever, his mercy in the worldly life is what Allah has provided him therein, and he has nothing in the Hereafter except the Fire.
قَوْله: ﴿ويحذركم الله نَفسه﴾ يَعْنِي: عُقُوبَته ﴿وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ﴾ أَي: رَحِيم؛ أما المُؤمن فَلهُ رَحْمَة الدُّنيا وَالْآخِرَة، وَأما الْكَافِر فرحمته فِي الدُّنيا مَا رزقه اللَّه فِيهَا، وَلَيْسَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَة إِلَّا النَّار.
