"Then whoever turns away after that" [meaning:] after the covenant and the pledge that Allah took from them, "those are the defiantly disobedient." [Verse 83-85]
﴿فَمن تولى بعد ذَلِك﴾ ﴿أَي:﴾ بعد الْعَهْد والميثاق الَّذِي أَخذ الله عَلَيْهِم ﴿فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ﴾ [آيَة ٨٣ - ٨٥]
