Volume 1 · Page 51286

Translation · EN

"How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true?" Mujahid said: It was revealed concerning a man from the Banu 'Amr ibn 'Awf who disbelieved after his belief. "And the clear proofs had come to them," meaning: the Book, in which there are clear proofs and arguments. "And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people," meaning: those among them whom He does not intend to guide.
