Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 1 · Page 549117

Translation · EN

"The likeness of what they spend in this worldly life is as the likeness of a wind containing sir" meaning: intense cold, "that struck the harvest of a people who wronged themselves." Mujahid said: This refers to [the expenditures of the disbelievers]; they shall have no reward for them in the Hereafter, and they shall vanish [just as] this crop vanishes, which was struck by the wind [and destroyed].
