"Allah has certainly heard the statement of those who said, 'Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich.'" The Jews said: Allah has asked you for a loan, and only a poor person asks for a loan. They said this due to the statement of Allah: "Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan?" Allah said: "We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right." He means by this: their ancestors who killed the prophets. "And We will say, 'Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.'" He means: in the Hereafter.
﴿لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاء﴾ قَالَت الْيَهُود: إِن الله استقرضكم، وَإِنَّمَا يستقرض الْفَقِير، قَالُوهُ لقَوْل الله: ﴿مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ الله قرضا حسنا﴾ قَالَ الله: ﴿سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وقتلهم الْأَنْبِيَاء بِغَيْر حق﴾ يَعْنِي: بِهَذَا: أوائلهم الَّذين قتلوا الْأَنْبِيَاء ﴿وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ﴾ يَعْنِي: فِي الْآخِرَه
