we shall surely be among the losers."
Muhammad said: His saying—may He be glorified—: "received" (fatalaqqa) means: he accepted and took. "And if there should come to you guidance from Me" meaning: a messenger. "Then whoever follows My guidance, there will be no fear concerning them" in the Hereafter regarding the Fire, "nor will they grieve" over the world. [Verse 40]
لنكونن من الخسرين﴾
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: قَوْله ﷿: ﴿فَتلقى﴾ مَعْنَاهُ: قبل وَأخذ. ﴿فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مني هدى﴾ أَي رَسُول ﴿فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا خوف عَلَيْهِم﴾ فِي الْآخِرَة من النَّار ﴿وَلا هم يَحْزَنُونَ﴾ على الدُّنْيَا. [آيَة ٤٠]
