Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 1 · Page 646199

Translation · EN

"And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah"—meaning: those among them who have believed—"and in what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, being humbly submissive to Allah." Al-khushu' (humble submission) is the constant fear [of Allah] settled in the heart. Qatadah said: It was mentioned to us that this was revealed regarding the Negus (al-Najashi) and a group of his companions who believed in the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
