Translation · EN

"Allah wants to make clear to you," His lawful and unlawful things, "and to guide you to the paths of those before you," meaning: the laws of those who were before you among the believers regarding what He has forbidden for you of mothers, daughters, and sisters... until the end of the verse. "And He wishes to turn to you in forgiveness," meaning: He pardons what occurred of your marrying them before the prohibition. [Verse 27-30]

﴿يُرِيد الله ليبين لكم﴾ حَلَاله وَحَرَامه ﴿وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ سُنَنَ الَّذِينَ من قبلكُمْ﴾ يَعْنِي: شرائع من كَانَ قبلكُمْ من الْمُؤمنِينَ فِيمَا حرم عَلَيْكُم من الْأُمَّهَات وَالْبَنَات وَالْأَخَوَات … إِلَى آخر الْآيَة. ﴿وَيَتُوب عَلَيْكُم﴾ أَي: يتَجَاوَز عَمَّا كَانَ من نكاحكم إياهن قبل التَّحْرِيم. [آيَة ٢٧ - ٣٠]
