Translation · EN

And do not torment the creation of God."

Muhammad said: Regarding His saying at the beginning of the verse: "Worship God and associate nothing with Him, and to parents, do good." The meaning is: God has commanded you to worship Him, and has commanded you to show kindness to your parents. Likewise, for everything God has mentioned in this verse, the meaning is: show kindness to all of these.

His saying: "Indeed, God does not like those who are arrogant and boastful."

Muhammad said: The arrogant (al-mukhtal) means: the conceited, the ignorant.

وَلا تُعَذِّبُوا خَلْقَ اللَّهِ)).

قَالَ مُحَمَّد: قَوْله فِي أول الْآيَة: ﴿وَاعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئا وبالوالدين إحسانا﴾ الْمَعْنى: أوصاكم الله بِعِبَادَتِهِ، وأوصاكم بالوالدين إحسانا، وَكَذَلِكَ جَمِيع مَا ذكر الله فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَة، الْمَعْنى: أَحْسنُوا إِلَى هَؤُلاءِ كلهم.

قَوْله: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ من كَانَ مختالا فخورا﴾

قَالَ مُحَمَّد: المختال: يَعْنِي: التَّيَّاه الجهول.
