"But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute," meaning: that in which they differed. "Then they find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged," Mujahid said: meaning: doubt. [Verses 66-70]
﴿فَلا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوك فِيمَا شجر بَينهم﴾ أَي: اخْتلفُوا فِيهِ ﴿ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قضيت﴾ قَالَ مُجَاهِد: يَعْنِي: شكا. [آيَة ٦٦ - ٧٠]
