"And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger," (the verse).
The interpretation of Qatadah: It was mentioned to us that some men said: "This is the Prophet of Allah, we see him in this world, but in the Hereafter, he will be elevated by his virtue, so we will not see him." Thus, Allah revealed this verse. [Verses 71-74]
﴿وَمَنْ يُطِعِ الله وَالرَّسُول﴾ الْآيَة.
تَفْسِير قَتَادَة: ذكر لنا أَن رجَالًا قَالُوا: هَذَا نَبِي الله نرَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَأَما فِي الْآخِرَة فيرفع بفضله فَلَا نرَاهُ؛ فَأنْزل الله هَذِهِ الْآيَة. [آيَة ٧١ - ٧٤]
