"Do they not then reflect upon the Quran?" He says: If they had reflected upon it, they would not have been hypocritical, and they would have believed. "And if it had been"—this Quran—"from other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction." The interpretation of Qatada: The word of Allah does not contradict; it is truth, with no falsehood in it, whereas the speech of people contradicts. [Verse 83-84]
﴿أَفلا يتدبرون الْقُرْآن﴾ يَقُولُ: لَو تدبروه، لم ينافقوا ولآمنوا. ﴿وَلَو كَانَ﴾ هَذَا الْقُرْآن ﴿مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلافًا كَثِيرًا﴾ تَفْسِير قَتَادَة: قَول الله لَا يخْتَلف هُوَ حق لَيْسَ فِيهِ بَاطِل، وَإِن قَول النَّاس يخْتَلف. [آيَة ٨٣ - ٨٤]
