"And when you travel throughout the land, there is no blame upon you for shortening the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve may afflict you"—meaning: that they might kill you. "Those who disbelieve"—this refers to the shortening of the prayer of fear. [Verses 102-104]
﴿وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَقْصُرُوا مِنَ الصَّلاةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنَكُمُ﴾ أَن يقتلكم ﴿الَّذين كفرُوا﴾ هَذَا قصر صَلَاة الْخَوْف. [آيَة ١٠٢ - ١٠٤]
