His saying: "All praise is due to Allah" (Al-Hamdu lillahi). He praised Himself and commanded His servants to praise Him. Praise (al-hamd) is the expression of gratitude for a favor. "Lord of the worlds" (Rabbi al-'alamin): the worlds (al-'alamun) are the creation.
قَوْله: ﴿الْحَمد لله﴾ حمد نَفسه، وَأمر الْعباد أَن يحمدوه، وَالْحَمْد: شكر النِّعْمَة. ﴿رَبِّ الْعَالمين﴾ الْعَالمُونَ: الْخلق.
