"And whoever earns a sin or a crime, then blames an innocent person for it," meaning: [what the] Jew was accused of while he was innocent of it, "he has indeed burdened himself with a slander" (a lie), "and a manifest sin" (an evident one).
﴿وَمَنْ يَكْسِبْ خَطِيئَةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثمَّ يرم بِهِ بَرِيئًا﴾ أَي: [مَا رمي بِهِ] الْيَهُودِيّ وَهُوَ مِنْهَا بَرِيء ﴿فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بهتانا﴾ كذبا ﴿وإثما مُبينًا﴾ بَينا،
