Al-Hasan said: Then Allah invited him to repent, saying: [Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him], up to the end of the verse. When this verse was revealed, he returned to the Muslims. [Verses 117-121]
قَالَ الْحسن: ثُمَّ استتابه الله، فَقَالَ: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرك بِهِ﴾ الْآيَة. فَلَمَّا نزلت هَذِهِ الْآيَة رَجَعَ إِلَى الْمُسلمين. [آيَة ١١٧ - ١٢١]
