it is a bird tending towards a reddish color that the southern wind would drive toward them. A man would slaughter what sufficed him for that day; if he took more than that, it would spoil and not remain with him, except on Friday, for they would slaughter what sufficed them for their day and for the Sabbath. "Eat from the good things which We have provided for you, and they did not wrong Us," meaning: they did not cause Us any loss, "but they were wronging themselves," meaning: they were causing themselves loss by their disobedience. [Ayah 58 - 59]
