"Ya sahibay as-sijn" (O my two companions of the prison), meaning the two young men who were imprisoned with him. "A-arbabun mutafarriqun" (Are separate lords better?), meaning the idols which you worship instead of Allah, whether small, large, or medium, "khayrun amillahu" (or Allah?), meaning that Allah is better than them.
