"That is from the news of the unseen," meaning: what was related to the Prophet regarding their story from the beginning of the Surah up to this point. "And you were not with them"—meaning in their presence—"when they agreed upon their plan while they were plotting" against Joseph.
﴿ذَلِك من أنباء الْغَيْب﴾ يَعْنِي: مَا قُصَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ قِصَّتِهِمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ السُّورَةِ إِلَى هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ ﴿وَمَا كُنْتَ لديهم﴾ عِنْدَهُمْ ﴿إِذْ أَجْمَعُوا أَمْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ يمكرون﴾ بِيُوسُف.
