Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 10866

Translation · EN

"And they hasten you for the evil" with punishment; and that is from them a denial and mockery, "before the good" meaning: before well-being. "And there have already passed before them the exemplary punishments" meaning: the incidents of God among the previous nations. "And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing" if they repent to Him. "And indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty" for whoever persists in his polytheism.
