your nighttime travel?! It is also said: the meaning of "sārib" is: one who is going about his needs. Of this is the statement of the speaker:

I see every tribe has tethered their stallion, while we have unfastened its tether, so it wanders freely.

Meaning: one who is going away.

سراك؟! وَقيل: معنى ﴿سارب﴾: ذَاهِبٌ فِي حَوَائِجِهِ؛ وَمِنْ هَذَا قَوْلُ الْقَائِلِ:

(أَرَى كُلَّ قومٍ قَارَبُوا قَيْدَ فَحْلِهِمْ … وَنَحْنُ خَلَعْنَا قَيْدَهُ فَهْوَ سَارِبُ﴾

أَيْ: ذَاهِبُ.
