Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 11409

Translation · EN

"Has there not reached you the news of those before you?"—meaning: their accounts.

"None knows them except Allah"—meaning: none knows how Allah destroyed them except Allah.

"They put their hands in their mouths"—meaning: they bit upon their fingertips in rage against the prophets; similar to His saying: "And when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage."

Surah Ibrahim from verse (10) to verse (14).
