"Perhaps those who disbelieved will wish that they had been Muslims."
Yahya: From Uthman, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, who said:
The people of the Fire will say to those who enter it among the people of Tawhid (monotheism): "These used to be Muslims, so what did that avail them?!" He said: Then their Lord becomes angry on their behalf and admits them into Paradise; at that moment, those who disbelieved will wish that they had been Muslims.
