'He said, This is a path, upon Me, straight'—the commentary of Mujahid: He means that Allah is the One who guides whom He wills to a straight path.
﴿قَالَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ﴾ (ل ١٧٠) تَفْسِيرُ مُجَاهِدٍ: يَعْنِي: أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْهَادِي لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاط مُسْتَقِيم
