Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 132552

Translation · EN

"And to Him belongs the religion (ad-din) perpetually [wasiban]," meaning: permanently. "Do you then fear other than Allah?" meaning: Do you worship [others]? He is saying this to the polytheists in the form of an inquiry, meaning: You have indeed done so, and thus you worshipped idols instead of Him.
