Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 133461

Translation · EN

"And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature" (An-Nahl: 61), meaning: He would have withheld the rain, thus destroying the animals of the earth. "But He defers them," He defers the polytheists, "until a specified term," until the Hour, because the punishment of the disbelievers at the end of this nation by total destruction has been delayed until the first blowing of the trumpet. "And when their term has come, they will not remain behind" from it, that is, from the punishment. The verse.

Surah An-Nahl from verse (62) to verse (67).
