Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 133562

Translation · EN

"And they attribute to Allah what they dislike," they attribute to Him daughters, while they dislike them for themselves. "And their tongues describe the lie that for them is the best," meaning the sons, according to the interpretation of As-Suddi. "No doubt," this is a word of warning, and its interpretation has already passed, "that for them is the Fire, and that they will be neglected." Al-Hasan read it with a sukun on the fa and a fatha on the ra, and its interpretation is as if they are hastened to the Fire. Some others read it as (mufarratun) with a fatha on the fa and a shadda on the ra, describing them as having neglected [their duties].

Muhammad said: Nafi’s reading is (mufritun) with a sukun on the fa and a kasra on the ra, and it is from the root of excess (ifrat) in disobeying Allah.
