and wool. "And garments to protect you in your warfare," meaning: iron armor that protects against combat.
"Thus does He complete His favor upon you that you might submit [to Him]," meaning: so that you may submit. He says: If you submit, the favor is completed for you with Paradise; and if you do not submit, the favor is not completed for you.
وَالصُّوف ﴿وسرابيل تقيكم بأسكم﴾ يَعْنِي: دُرُوعَ الْحَدِيدِ تَقِي الْقِتَالَ.
﴿كَذَلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تسلمون﴾ لِكَيْ تُسْلِمُوا؛ يَقُولُ: إِنْ أَسْلَمْتُمْ تَمَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ النِّعْمَةُ بِالْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنْ لَمْ تُسْلِمُوا لمْ تَتِمَّ عَلَيْكُمُ النِّعْمَة
