"So eat of what Allah has provided for you, [which is] lawful and good," meaning: that which is made lawful of provision.
"And that which has been dedicated to other than Allah," meaning: the sacrifices of the polytheists. Then He made the sacrifices of the People of the Scripture lawful. "But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit]"—its explanation has already passed.
Surat an-Nahl from verse (116) to verse (118).
﴿فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالا طيبا﴾ يَعْنِي: مَا أَحَلَّ مِنَ الرَّزْقِ.
﴿وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ﴾ يَعْنِي: ذَبَائِحَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، ثُمَّ أَحَلَّ ذَبَائِحَ أْهَلِ الْكِتَابِ ﴿فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غير بَاغ وَلَا عَاد﴾ قد مضى تَفْسِيره.
