"And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion," meaning: that the people of the worldly life are people of amusement and diversion.
﴿وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلا لَعِبٌ وَلَهو﴾ أَيْ: أَنَّ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ لعب ولهوٍ.
