"Say: Allah delivers you from them and from every distress," meaning: every distress from which you are delivered, it is He who delivers you from it, "yet then you associate partners with Him."
﴿قُلِ اللَّهُ يُنَجِّيكُمْ مِنْهَا وَمِنْ كل كرب﴾ أَيْ: كُلِّ كَرْبٍ نَجَوْتُمْ مِنْهُ فَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْجَاكُمْ مِنْهُ ﴿ثُمَّ أَنْتُم تشركون﴾
