Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 206

Translation · EN

"And admonish with it"—that is, with the Quran—"lest a soul be consigned for what it has earned." It means: lest it be abandoned for what it has earned, meaning: to be abandoned in the Fire. "It has no protector besides Allah" to prevent [the punishment] from it, "nor any intercessor" to intercede for it with Him; and this applies to the disbeliever.

"And if it offers every ransom"—that is, if it offers every form of compensation—"it will not be accepted from it." "Those are the ones who are consigned"—that is, abandoned to the Fire—"for what they have earned." That is, what they have done. "For them will be a drink of scalding water." Al-Hamim is the hot water that has reached its peak in heat. "And a painful punishment," meaning agonizing.

Surah Al-An'am from verse (71) only.
