Translation · EN

Al-Kalbi said: This means the calculation of the mansions of the sun and the moon, for every day is a mansion.

Muhammad said: The recitation is in the accusative case (nasb): "wa-al-shamsa wa-al-qamara" (the sun and the moon); meaning: and He made the sun and the moon. Among their expressions is: 'Everything has its limit by its husban (reckoning)'; meaning: by its calculation.
