"And it is He who sent down rain from the sky, and We brought forth thereby the growth of all things" (Quran 6:99), meaning: the vegetation that grows. "And We brought forth from it greenery from which We produce grains layered one upon another," meaning: some of which layers upon others.
﴿وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شيءٍ﴾ يَعْنِي: النَّبَاتَ الَّذِي يَنْبُتُ ﴿فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًا نُخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّا متراكبا﴾ أَيْ: يَرْكَبُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا.
