"And thus We will make some of the wrongdoers allies of others," Al-Hasan said: The polytheists are allies to one another, just as the believers are allies to one another.

﴿وَكَذَلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعْضَ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضًا﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: الْمُشْرِكُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ؛ كَمَا أَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء بعض.
