Translation · EN

"Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of heaven will not be opened for them," meaning: for their deeds and for their souls. "Nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle."

Yahya [narrated] from Hammad, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Abu Wa'il, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, who said:

"The soul of the believer departs with a scent better than that of musk. The angels who took his soul ascend with it, and other angels meet them below the heaven and ask: 'Who is this?' They reply: 'This is such-and-such person, who used to do such-and-such'—referring to the goodness of his deeds. They say: 'Welcome to you and to him.' They take him and ascend with him through the gate from which his deeds used to ascend, and it shines in the heavens, until it reaches the Throne, and it has a proof like the proof of..."

﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا عَنْهَا لَا تفتح لَهُم﴾ يَعْنِي: لِأَعْمَالِهِمْ وَلَا لِأَرْوَاحِهِمْ ﴿أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاء﴾.

يحيى: عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ:

تَخْرُجُ رُوحُ الْمُؤْمِنُ أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ؛ فَتَصْعَدُ بِهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّوْهُ؛ فَتَلْقَاهُ مَلَائِكَةٌ آخَرُونَ دُونَ السَّمَاءِ؛ فَيَقُولُونَ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا فلانٌ كَانَ يَعْمَلُ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ - لِمَحَاسِنِ عَمَلِهِ. فَيَقُولُونَ: مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ وَبِهِ؛ فَيَقْبِضُونَهُ فَيَصْعَدُونَ بِهِ مِنْ بَابِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَصْعَدُ مِنْهُ عَمَلُهُ (فَيُشْرِقُ) فِي السَّمَوَات؛ حَتَّى يَنْتَهِيَ إِلَى الْعَرْشِ، وَلَهُ برهانٌ كَبُرْهَانِ
