"And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them."

Yahya: On the authority of Khidash, from Muhammad ibn Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one; whoever enumerates them will enter Paradise."

Muhammad said: (The meaning of 'enumerates them' [ahsahā]): He memorized them. It was also said: The meaning is that he affirmed them for Allah and worshipped Him through them.
