of His punishment. 'And when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith,' meaning: whenever anything from the Qur'an is revealed, they believe in it.
عَذَابِهِ ﴿وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زادتهم إِيمَانًا﴾ يَعْنِي: كُلَّمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْء صدقُوا بِهِ.
